The donation is made up of £1 from every online order received between mid-March and end-April, and will be used by the DEC charities in Ukraine and neighbouring Eastern European countries to provide food, water, shelter, healthcare and protection to the people displayed by the ongoing crisis.

“The ongoing crisis in Ukraine is devastating and supporting those affected is extremely important to us,” said James Fleming, CEO of Patisserie Valerie Group.

“We extend our thanks to our loyal customers who have helped us raise an impressive sum of over £16,000 which will help to provide vital supplies to the people of Ukraine”.

On a lighter note, the bakery has also created limited edition range of cakes to honour Queen Elizabeth II’s Jubilee, including the Queen’s favourite, a Chocolate Biscuit Cake (£42.95). It is also offering a Jubilee Patisserie Box (£32.95), which it claims is perfect to take along to one of the myriad street parties planned for the Jubilee celebrations. Products are available for delivery across the UK.
